Spelunky is a cave exploration / treasure-hunting game inspired by classic stage games and roguelikes, where the aim is to grab as much treasure out of the cave as possible. The protagonist of the game is a nameless treasure hunter who will explore the mysterious dungeon. The latter is filled with cubes, dangerous monsters, waiting for the rescue of these girls and, naturally, chests with gold. The goal of the player is simple: to avoid traps, to kill creatures, to rescue girls, to push gold, and to get to the exit to go into another level.
